After 30 years of working in and with the NHS, my passion is helping the NHS to make the most out of their investment in medicines. Soar Beyond was established in 2007 to help support the NHS, Industry and local authorities to do this effectively and meaningfully. Sometimes, this means being directly commissioned by the NHS as a service provider or indirectly working with them as part of a partnership programme with Industry.
My personal heritage as both practice pharmacist and a Head of Medicines Management is apparent in the type of work we do in Soar Beyond and 'partnership and collaboration' is a common thread in all the work we do, whether with the pharmaceutical and devices industry or public sector. I am particularly proud of the committed Soar Beyond Team, our change management services such as 4D and team of field-based pharmacists resulting in the reputation we have built in the last 10 years or so. We continue to develop, grow and innovate and in 2017, we launched the i2i Network for practice pharmacists to much acclaim and it was shortlisted for the 2018 HSJ 'Improving Outcomes through Learning & Development' Award- www.i2ipharmacists.com
