After a short period of research into electric car batteries, Stuart joined the pharmaceutical industry in the 1980s. His extensive industry experience includes roles as representative, field trainer, regional/national business manager, head of sales and head of nurse management.
Stuart has worked in a number of fields from dermatology to psychiatry. However, his interest in medical devices was triggered when working within the area of growth hormone with the variety of injection devices used. He currently works in the enteral nutrition field with Fresenius Kabi where he has daily involvement with a range of feeding devices and pumps.
Stuart learnt early in his career that the industry’s two most important resources are its people and its products – working with AHA gives the opportunity to recognise this.
